A dog hilariously interrupts a Philadelphia Union CONCACAF match, bolts straight for the ball
The Philadelphia Union should have just let the dog stay on the field.
In the 68th minute of the CONCACAF match between Philadelphia Union and Alianza on Tuesday night, a dog appeared and ran onto the field at Estadio Cuscatlan in El Salvador. The game stopped, but the dog knew exactly what to do.
He hit directly for the ball.
An official quickly ran over, picked up the dog and walked off the field of play so the game could continue. That dog didn’t seem to bother him, either, and it was obvious that he was very proud of himself.
After all, he just wanted to play.
Union and Alianza tied 0-0 in the first leg. They meet again next week in Philadelphia, where, if we’re lucky, another good boy will try to get in on the action.
