Dr. Alexander Larrochelle, who reportedly performed the surgery on Mavarez, was arrested by authorities on Sunday after he visited a local police station to give a statement.

She said her daughter had her own lipo pump at the facility to reduce swelling, but the nurses ultimately refused to use it.
