Josh Andres Rivera Aaron Hernandez will play there American sports history. His casting was announced by IndieWire in November 2023. Josh was cast earlier this year, but has not been confirmed until now.
Josh is famous for playing Chino inside Steven Spielberg The Story of the West remake in 2021. His latest role is Sejanus Plinth in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Birds & Snakeswhich will be released in theaters on November 17 Tom Blyth and Rachel Zegler. Rachel and Josh have been dating after meeting on the set of The Story of the West.
Josh got the part of Aaron Hernandez while filming Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. Nina Jacobsonwho did all of the Hunger Games films, one of the executive producers of American sports history.
“I wanted Ryan [Murphy] to process discovery. So I was just, ‘Yes, this guy is good. Look up.’ And we’re just throwing it into the mix. And he stole the part, just like he did Leaves“, said Nina IndieWire. “Especially watching him on set, he’s an established, likable, natural and strong presence, prepared in advance. I was delighted when they brought in a bunch of people, and let Josh rise to the top, which I knew he would do. And we took it all away. He was trained to be big and muscular; he liked to lift weights.”

Lindsay Mendez also joined the team of American sports history as Tanya Singleton, according to Date. Tanya was Aaron’s cousin and “best friend who becomes his de-facto mother”. Lindsay is a Tony winner, having won for her performance in Carousel.
Lindsay also shared how excited she was to be a part of the American sports history casting “So happy and proud to join this amazing team and tell this story,” she wrote on Instagram. “It’s been a busy season for my family and I, and I’m so grateful for their love and support. It was an honor and a privilege to be a working actor, with @sagaftra and @actorsequity.”
