Tate added, ‘Teenage men and young men, 20, 22, 23, 24, were looking up to me and aspiring to be like me.’
Furthermore, the former kickboxer admitted, ‘I live a very traditionally masculine life. I had a fast car and a big house and lots of money and a beautiful girlfriend and they thought it was very, very dangerous.
He added, ‘For some reason, they decided they wanted to kill me off the internet and replace me with someone who was more aligned with whatever they were trying to propose.’
Tate has been in the limelight for his views over the years. It has been labeled ‘dangerous’ and ‘misogynistic’.
In 2017, Tate was banned from Twitter after saying women should ‘bear some responsibility’ when they are sexually assaulted in the wake of the #MeToo movement.
