Apple had better look back in China

Signs are finally getting stronger for the global smartphone market. Chinese handset makers like Huawei, locked out of the race by US sanctions, are calling back.

That adds up to a difficult outlook for Apple in China, its second-largest revenue segment after North America. The Chinese rival Huawei Xiaomiwhich reported third-quarter results on Monday, also making a renewed push in the main sector –Appleand bread and butter.
