Ariana Grande Likes Post About Not Dating Someone You’re Scared Of While Splitting From Dalton Gomez

After TMZ the news broke that the Stuck With U The singer and her real estate mogul husband separated in January and are now “heading for divorce,” fans have been looking for clues to help provide some context for the split. And they might just have found something.

The God is a Woman the singer “liked” a post from a famous psychologist Terry Coleand Instagram account read:

“I will never again be in a relationship with someone I fear.”

Oh, yeah, and the wise words were posted on January 18th – right around the time Ari and Dalton said they would call it quits! It’s not clear when the pop star posted the upload, but it looks like she’s following the account, which would mean she could have seen it when it was first posted, and perhaps relevant to her situation at the time?

Grande also “liked” other posts about “Self-Sacrifice in the Service of Your Relationship,” people and situations that threaten your peace of mind [and] self-esteem and communication as a ‘love language,'” and one from May that read:

“Think how different the world would be if little girls were taught to set boundaries as often as they were taught to be polite.”

Interesting. We’re glad Ariana is feeling empowered by these posts, but do they hint at some of the “issues” the couple had before they decided to pull the plug on love?

Earlier this week, a source said TMZ the estranged couple’s relationship began to unravel after the COVID restrictions began to lift. As you may remember, the two started dating in early 2020 around the time of the pandemic. So, Mr. Gomez was lucky that the Thank you, Next a singer all to himself because the world was pretty much shut down. However, when things began to return to normal, he seemed to be “caught up” by the popularity of the pop sensation. From busy schedules, to relentless paparazzi attention, ongoing business deals, and having to “go around town with security,” Gomez reportedly started to struggle.

Huh. Now Ariana’s “likes” on those posts make more sense.

However, while Dalton may be “devastated” about their breakup, it doesn’t seem like the two are going out on a sour note. An insider said Page Six Monday:

“They came to the decision together. They had problems before January, but they want to remain good friends. They have been good friends through the whole process, and their friends and families have been trying to protect them.”
