Awkwafina and Sandra Oh star as two sisters on a cross-country road trip to save their mother in 20th Century Studios’ Quiz Lady trailer.
20th Century Studios is ready to check out his funny thing A Lady’s Question trailer, by Awkwafina (The Farewell, Migration, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) and Sandra Oh (Killing Eve, Under the Tuscan sun, Grey’s Anatomy) because two sisters wanted to raise enough money to pay off their missing mother’s debt and get their dog back. A Lady’s Question will be published first November 3, 2023, only on Disney+ in Canada. The original film will premiere at the 48th edition of the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday, September 9.

In Quiz Boyy, a brilliant but tightly wound young woman with a penchant for gambling, Anne (Awkwafina), and her train wreck of a sister, Jenny (Sandra Oh), work together to help pay for their mother’s gambling debt. When Anna’s lover’s dog is kidnapped, they embark on a wild, cross-country journey to get the money the only way they know how: by turning Anna into a bona-fide champion for the game. The film, which also stars Jason Schwartzman, Holland Taylor, Tony Hale, and Will Ferrell, is directed by Jessica Yu, written by Jen D’Angelo, and produced by Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, Maggie Haskins , Itay Reiss, Jen D’Angelo, Awkwafina, and Sandra Oh, with Alex Brown and Erika Hampson serving as executive producers.
In the A Lady’s Question trailer, Anna and Jenny find out that their mother has gone missing, and she is left with a huge debt. Determined to find their mother, the sisters hatch a plan to pay off their mother’s gambling debtby entering Anna as a contestant on a popular game show. As the two travel across the open road towards their destination, they run into road rage, nervous sweats, dog nappers, and nosy onlookers who think the girls have cocaine. With time running out, Anna and Jenny must pick up the pace and win the pot if their mother is to return home safe and sound.
I needed a good laugh today, and the A Lady’s Question trailer delivers. Awkwafina and Oh feel like a strong couple for a madcap comedy, and road trips always lead to shenanigans, no matter the destination. Let’s go!
