According to A channel Reportedly, Festus Keyamo, Minister of State, Labor and Employment, has refuted claims by Daniel Bwala that he sued former Lagos State Governor Bola Tinubu for certificate forgery.

During an interview with channelAtiku Abubakar Campaign Spokesperson Daniel Bwala disclosed that Festus Keimo had filed a case against the former governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for certificate forgery.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu campaign spokesperson, Festus Keyamo disagreed with Daniel Bwala’s statement, asserting that he only sued the Lagos State House of Assembly and not Bola Ahmed Tinubu for legal interpretation of the law.

Festus Keimo, who tried to defend himself, retorted: “Once the Supreme Court has decided on a case, it is binding on everyone, even the losing lawyer, and he must follow and uphold the court’s decision. Therefore, assuming that I have made any allegation in this case (which I have not admitted), once the Supreme Court has given its decision, that is the end of the matter and, going forward, it is incumbent upon me to desist from pursuing it. To defend a case and decision already decided by the Supreme Court of the country.

Keimo added that his conflict with Bola Tinubu was motivated by uncovering the truth and the real constitutional rights of the House rather than anger and malice.
