Celebrity hair stylist Chris Appleton has filed for divorce from actor Lukas Gage.
BuzzFeed has obtained the court documents, which were filed in the Superior Court of California yesterday. TMZ was the first to report the divorce.
The two got married at the end of April, meaning that the marriage lasted for more than six months. The separation date is listed as November 10th, this past Friday.
“Irreconcilable differences” are listed as legal grounds for divorce. The two had a postnuptial agreement, meaning that each will keep their separate assets.
The pair first met at a party five years ago, but it was after Chris slipped into Lukas’ DMs this winter that things took a romantic turn. “It’s almost like that kind of childlike innocence to our relationship, and I think that’s very special and rare,” Chris said of Lucas last month, noting he was a “good stepfather” to 20-year-old Chris and 18-year-old children.
