Chukwudi Iwuji teases Guardians of the Galaxy 3 villain
Chukwudi Iwuji teases his incredible and unsympathetic take on the High Evolutionary, the villain at the center of Guardians of the Galaxy 3

No matter how brutal a villain may seem, there is usually a moment that allows the audience to empathize, or at least understand their goals. There doesn’t seem to be much to sympathize with when it comes to the High Evolutionary, the villain at the heart of what’s to come. Guardians of the Galaxy Book 3.
Described as a brilliant scientist, the High Evolutionary is played by Chukwudi Iwuji, who told Radar games that there is no humanity left in his character. “It has no solvent properties,” said Iwuji. “He’s a proper villain, you know, proper with a capital P. He’s going after something scary, he makes you uncomfortable, and you’re waiting for him to come. And they [qualities] it is very fun to play without any apology or desire for sympathy from the audience.”
The High Evolutionary specializes in genetic engineering and played a role in the creation of Rocket, who goes to very dark places, which surprised the actor. “It’s little wonder I don’t lie,” said Iwuji. “We’ve all appeared on Marvel movies. We have seen the sympathy that many of the films draw out for the criminals, which is not the case here.“The High Evolutionary isn’t the only villain we see there Guardians of the Galaxy Book 3as Adam Warlock (Will Poulter) and Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki) are also on hand to cause our heroes some grief.
Guardians of the Galaxy Book 3 finds our band of beloved misfits settling into life on Knowhere. But their lives are soon consumed by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life – a mission that, if not successfully completed, could lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them. Initial reactions to all three have been overwhelmingly positive, with some calling it the best Marvel film since Endgame.
