Dave Bautista to star in action comedy The Killer’s Game
Guardians of the Galaxy Dave Bautista to star in The Killer’s Game, an action comedy about an assassin who orders a hit on himself.

Lionsgate announced today that Dave Bautista is set to star The Killer Gameaction-comedy from Day shift director JJ Perry.
Based on the novel by Jay Bonansinga, The Killer Game follow up “ex-assassin Joe Flood (Bautista), who is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and allows himself to be killed to avoid the pain that is about to follow. After ordering the killing, he discovers that he has been badly tracked and must then stop an army of former colleagues who were trying to kill him.” Rand Ravich and Simon Kinberg wrote the script, with James Coyne writing the latest rewrite. Principal photography is expected to begin this summer.

Dave Bautista is currently seen starring Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which is expected to be his last appearance as Drax. The sequel finds our infamous band settling into life on Knowhere. But their lives are soon consumed by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life – a mission that, if not successfully completed, could lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.
