Dead by Daylight brings the Alien franchise into the Mist with Ellen Ripley as a new survivor and the Xenomorph as a new killer.
Over the years, Behavior Interactive has collaborated with several horror franchises for Kill by Daylight and they announced that today Alien officially coming to the horror video game.
Dead by Daylight: Alien it will introduce Ellen Ripley as the latest survivor along with the Xenomorph as the latest killer. “Alien has been and remains one of the greatest sci-fi stories ever told – and all of us at Behavior Interactive are honored to be able to collaborate with 20th Century Games to bring this story to life. introduce Dead by Daylight,” said Mathieu Coté, Head of Partnerships for Interactive Behavior.
The new map will be set against the eerie backdrop of the wreckage of the Nostromo with a few Kill by Daylight twist The Xenomorph has the added advantage of being able to enter and exit through tunnels under the map that only he can access. “Creating the Xenomorph Tunnel system was very challenging because we had never created a sub-level accessible to the Slayer,” explained Janick Neveu, Game Designer on Dead by Daylight. “This new mechanic gives him the ability to move around the Map and definitely increases the fear – which feels very connected to the original character.“
The Xenomorph is a stealth killer with a power called Runner Mode that allows him to walk on all fours and be more stealthy, greatly reducing his Terror Radius. There will also be a new interactive map function: Control Stations. Seven people will be scattered across the map, and the survivors will be able to interact with them to get a new device, the Remote Flame Turret.

A feature film adaptation is also being developed by Atomic Monster and Blumhouse.
