Demon Slayer season 3 Episode 5 Summary
Muichiro and Kotetsu go to where Kanamori is. Muichiro asks Kanamori about his sword, and Kanamori leads them to his work shed. However, while on the way, Muichiro notices Gyokko waiting by the shed. Meanwhile, Mitsuri arrives in the village and rescues the villagers from the fish-like demons. She also defeats the giant fish-like demon that was holding Tecchin. Elsewhere, Nezuko and Tanjiro try to escape from Karaku, Sekido, and Urogi. Nezuko is trapped under rubble after Karaku unleashes a wind attack. She grips Tanjiro’s sword until her hands begin to bleed.
Gyokko uses his abilities to create a grotesque creature that contains some of the swordsmiths. Muichiro is disgusted and attacks Gyokko. He keeps an eye on Gyokko’s vases while he discovers how it works. Gyokko says something that reminds Muichiro of before. He then uses his Blood Demon Art to trap Muichiro in a water prison, stopping him from breathing. Nezuko then uses her Blood Demon Art to ignite Tanjiro’s sword, turning it red. Tanjiro gets an inherited memento of the sword with the earrings.
Sekido sees Tanjiro’s sword and remembers the one that nearly beheaded Muzan. Tanjiro uses Hinokami Kagura to head the trio. He looks for Aizetsu and sees that Genya has defeated him. However, Genya is starting to look like a demon.
