According to Kevin Armstrong, an extra on the 2020 miniseries The Stand, actor Ezra Miller disrupted filming with scary and offensive behavior.
Via Business Insider, Armstrong recalled that Miller made a habit of screaming and spitting during takes to get a rise out of people. But it didn’t stop there. Armstrong also stated the actor once yelled out an offensive joke. “It was something to the effect of: A Jew, a Black man, and a gay man walk into a bar, and the bartender said, ‘Hey, what are you doing here? You don’t belong here,” he said.

Things eventually escalated to a point where Miller’s legal counsel and manager were called because multiple people on the set were feeling unsafe. “It was disgusting and horribly unprofessional,” Armstrong said.
The Flash Movie Is Still Happening
This report comes on the heels of Warner Bros. cancellation of the new Batgirl movie, which led some people to wonder whether Miller’s new WB film, The Flash, was destined to get the same treatment. Some spectators believe this would be a wise move, as Miller has been accused of multiple instances of abusive behavior, including lashing out at a woman in her own home, assaulting a fan, and harassing a 12-year-old. But according to The Flash producer Barbara Muschietti, “All is good in Flash land.”
Still, Warner Bros. has no intention of working with Miller again after The Flash comes out. David Zaslav, the CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, said Miller is “simply not a part of those plans going forward in the future [Flash] universe regardless if there are more allegations or not.”

A studio insider expressed the difficulty of the situation, explaining, “There is no winning in this for Warner Bros. This is an inherited problem for Zaslav. The hope is that the scandal will remain at a low level before the movie is released, and hope for the best to turn out.”
Also starring in The Flash is Michael Keaton, who will play Batman for the first time in decades, accompanied by Ben Affleck, who will also reprise his version of the Dark Knight in a guest role. Additional cast members include Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue, and Sasha Calle as Supergirl.
The Flash is set to hit theaters on June 23, 2023.
