First 18 picks of 2023 NFL draft locked in after regular season ends
As week 18 of the NFL season draws to a close, millions of football fans are eagerly anticipating what next year will bring for their favorite team – especially if they don’t make the playoffs.
While the draft order for playoff teams is determined by the results of the postseason, those 18 organizations already know where they will draft on Thursday, April 27, 2023 – barring a trade.
The Chicago Bears, with their 3-14 record, have received the first overall pick.
While many collegiate quarterbacks are expected to be selected early, the Bears have their franchise QB in Justin Fields.

Next will be the Houston Texans at two, and the Arizona Cardinals at three, the Indianapolis Colts at 4 and the Seattle Seahawks at 5.
