When and where are the Grammys being held in 2024?
The 66th Grammy Awards will be held on January 4th (January 5th Australian time) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Broadcast live at 8:00-11:30pm ET and 5:00-8:30pm PT on CBS in America, the Grammys ceremony, can be seen in Australia on television at 12pm on Monday January 5.
Which celebrities will be performing and hosting the Grammys in 2024?
This year’s show will be star-studded, with music appealing to fans of all genders and generations.
So far, among those who have been announced as performers at the awards ceremony are Billie Eilish, Billy Joel, Burna Boy, Dua Lipa, Luke Combs, Olivia Rodrigo, Joni Mitchell and Travis Scott.
U2 will also be putting on a first-of-its-kind broadcast show from the Sphere tech center in LA, which will also include a special awards show.

Among the famous people who we see awarding their fellow artists so far are Christina Aguilera, Samara Joy, Lenny Kravitz, Maluma, Lionel Richie, Mark Ronson, Meryl Streep, Taylor Tomlinson and Oprah Winfrey.
The host of the 66th Grammy Awards is comedian Trevor Noah, who has been their favorite MC for the past four years.
Notable Grammy Nominees for 2024
This year’s Grammy nominations were heavily dominated by women, starting with SZA taking home nine nominations across multiple genres, including best traditional R&B performance for Language of lovebest R&B song for Facebest melodic rap performance for Lowand best pop duo/group performance for Ghost in the Machine, for which she collaborated with singer Phoebe Bridgers.
Bridgers earned the second highest number of nominations, with seven nods in total, six of which went to her band boygenius.
Joni Mitchell was nominated in the Best Country Album category for her live album 2023, Joni Mitchell in Newport [Live]which was a recording of her incredible performance at the 2022 Newport Folk Festival, which marked her first performance in 20 years.

Barbie won 11 nominations overall, including Record of the Year for What has been done to me?which was also nominated for Song of the Year along with Dance of the Night, The world of Barbie for Best Rap Song, and more.
Aussies in particular are killing it this year, with some of Australia’s biggest names getting nominated for Best Pop Dance Recording – Kylie Minogue for Patrick Patrick and Troye Sivan for Rush.
Melbourne artist Dom Dolla is also nominated in the Best Remixed Recording category for his song, New Goldby fellow Australian artist Tame Impala.
Many big names earned six nominations each, including Olivia Rodrigo, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Brandy Clark, Jon Batiste, producer Jack Antonoff, and his best friend Taylor Swift.
But the star will miss the presence of her boyfriend Travis Kelce, as he prepares for his own moment that defines his career.
