Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson it’s off to prom! The Baby & Tiaras alum, 17, dressed in a bright pink dress as she headed to a high school dance with her boyfriend Carswell Drilling, 21, Monday, the 24th day of April. Alana stood with her beau and her mother Mama June, 43, in the new pictures, which you can see here, via TMZ. Honey Boo Boo and Dralin were excited to celebrate!
Alana’s pre-prom photos looked like they were fit for a fairytale experience. The dance is often considered a rite of passage for students as they near the end of high school, and the reality star went out! Honey Boo Boo wore a long pink dress with glittery silver designs all over. She also wore a sparkling silver necklace and styled her hair. To complete the fairy-tale scene, she stood next to her path for the evening: a horse-drawn carriage. The horse also had a pink feather on top and a floral headpiece to match Alana’s dress. She also shared a few photos from her pre-prom photos in an Instagram post, where she gave a shout out to various people who helped her with her dress and outfit.
Dralin, with whom Alana officially went Instagram in September 2021, was dressed a little more casually for the evening. He was wearing a white polo shirt and black pants. He also rocked a Chicago White Sox hat and a shiny watch as he posed for pictures with his girlfriend. Mama June was dressed in black as she stood with Alana.
The prom photos come just over a month after Dralin was arrested for DUI and trying to flee from police in early March. Honey Boo Boo was reportedly in the car when her boyfriend was arrested, but she was not arrested. He was charged with speeding, failure to maintain lane, DUI following too close, and fleeing or attempting to elude an officer eluded police, and was released after two days on $25,000 bond.
