Faleye Olushola, Herbert Wigwe’s special assistant, escaped untimely death on Friday night, February 9, in an unfortunate helicopter crash that killed his boss, his wife, and his son.

Remember that the CEO of Access Holdings Plc, his wife, Chizobaand their son was killed when their helicopter crashed in California, USA.

They were on their way to Las Vegas when the fatal incident occurred near the Nevada-California border on Friday night, February 9, 2024.

Olushola, whose name was on the publication, staved off death by not boarding the ill-fated plane after choosing to travel by road.

According to ThisDay, Olushola together with Wigwe, his wife, son and former Chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group), Abimbola Ogunbanjo flew from London, United Kingdom to Palm Spring, a city in California.

But when he arrived in Palm Spring, Olushola refused to board the ill-fated plane bound for Boulder City in Nevada, insisting that he would not travel by helicopter at night because of the weather.

He was said to have chosen to travel to Boulder City by road and escaped the air dis@ster, which killed four others.
