How Marvel Set ‘Secret Wars’ Back in ‘Age of Ultron’

It’s fair to say that Avengers: Age of Ultron it is not one of the most popular movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But it’s also fair to say that in retrospect it was probably one of the most important.

Not only had events at Age of Ultron put directly the stage for the events of movies like Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, the film also featured a sequence – which was not popular at the time – where Thor has a vision of the future, teasing all sorts of possible Marvel stories. Some of the rumors came true quickly, but it seems that these scenes contained hints about where the MCU is yet led all the years that followed – including what’s to come Avengers: Secret Wars mega movie.
