How should former UFC champ Petr Yan proceed with his career after a 1-4 slump?

0 14

Former UFC champ Petr Yan finds himself at a crossroads after losing four of five fights since relinquishing the bantamweight title.

Yan (16-5 MMA, 8-4 UFC) continued on Saturday when he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Merab Dvalishvili (16-4 MMA, 9-2 UFC) in the 221m UFC Fight Night headliner at The Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas.

Just over two years ago Yan held the undisputed 135-pound belt and looked like he could have a long reign. Fast forward to today, and “No Mercy” is in the midst of a 1-4 slide, albeit with several controversial results in that stretch.
