Hrithik Roshan looks ready for action in new film yet, fans say, ‘Aur sabar nahi hota’
Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming film Fighter has everyone excited. The action entertainer is not only directed by Pathaan director Siddharth Anand, but also stars Deepika Padukone as the female lead. Fans are already waiting with bated breath for the aerial adventurer to open on the silver screens in January 2024. And it seems Hrithik is also pretty pumped, counting the days till Fighter will be released. Today, on June 26, the Bollywood actor released a photo from Fighter, on Instagram, reminding fans that they will have to wait just 7 months longer before the movie hits theaters.

Putting aside fancy captions, Hrithik Roshan expressed his feelings, just through hashtags. He wrote, “#Fighter, #25Jan2024, #7MonthsToFighter.” The shot captured Hrithik’s silhouette, his back turned away from the camera. But it was easy to make out that he was wearing a flight suit, wearing gloves, and standing in the middle of two jet engines, ready for action. The picture created an aura of mystery, embedded with a ray of hope as Hrithik was seen touching the plane, looking at the illuminated horizon.

Moments after the picture was uploaded, Hrithik’s admirers as well as members of the film fraternity responded to it. While an enthusiastic Anil Kapoor, who is part of Fighter dropped a raised fist emoji, filmmaker Zoya Akhtar added a heart emoji. “Is this Patty’s (Hrithik) entry shot?” one user thought. Another found the photo to be Tom Cruise’s “Top Gun: Maverick” inspiration. “Say you. Diwali tak release kardo (I can wait more sir. Release by Diwali)” asked a third follower.
The fighter will have a high-octane action sequence in the climax scene
Earlier, according to a report by Pinkvilla, it was revealed that Fighter, India’s first aerial action franchise, will have an exciting sequel starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor. Sources said that the last few minutes of Siddharth Anand’s direction will be a “great cinematic experience for the audience.” Reportedly, the team is expected to shoot for more than 120 hours for the action scene, which will include, “hand-to-hand combat along with aerial shots.”
Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter release date
Fighter, was originally scheduled to be released in January 2023, then again in September 2023. Now, it is confirmed that the much-anticipated film will debut on the big screens on January 24, next year.
