Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine is back in ‘Deadpool 3’ trailer
Deadpool is back… and this time he’s brought a friend.
That is Hugh Jackman, returning as Wolverine for the first time in seven years, since 2017. Logan. You may remember that the film featured the “death” of Wolverine, and it was intended to be Jackman’s departure from the character and the X-Men films.
Whoopsie! Jackman is back – and for the first time he is playing the character (alongside Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s also the first time Jackman has donned Wolverine’s signature yellow and blue outfit, after two decades of playing Logan in black leather jackets and bikes.
So how come Jackman’s Wolverine isn’t dead anymore? Why is he hanging out with Reynolds’ Deadpool? Why is that both of them in the Marvel Cinematic Universe now? What does all this have to do with chimichangas? If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is there to hear it, will it make a sound?

Here is the official synopsis of the film:
Everyone deserves a happy ending.
Yes, that’s all we have right now. But we know this: the movie is not Deadpool 3. he is Deadpool and Wolverine. And while the trailer doesn’t explain a ton, it does reveal that Time Variation Authority from Loki plays a huge role in bringing Deadpool from the Fox X-Men universe to…somewhere else. Where the film goes from there, and how Jackman’s Wolverine fits into all of that, remains to be seen.
Marvel also released the first official poster for the film:
Deadpool and Wolverine is scheduled to open in theaters on July 26.
