Jennifer Hudson breaking her silence on those rumors with Common!
Well, at this point, can we even call them rumours?! As we’ve said before, there’s a lot of evidence that JHud and Common are the new IT couple in town – and it all started way back last July when they got really cozy on the set of the thriller to come Breathe. At the time, the If this is not love the singer addressed the first rumors about their romance in a statement to ETwhere she said:
“People create their narrative about it and it’s like, okay, you know, how you feel. We shot a movie together and he played my husband. We have to eat between these times.”
Hmm…

That didn’t stop the rumors from coming, though! In February 2023, the two were seen having dinner at Nobu in Malibu, and then they were spotted together again in May as they went on a really cute walk down through Chicago. Dinner, long walks in the park, it makes for a complete friendship!
Just last week the couple were spotted in London watching a concert together, while sources said DailyMail.com at the time:
“Jennifer and Common have been trying to keep their relationship on the down low. There has been speculation for months as to whether they are together or not, but the fact that they have traveled all the way to London together just goes to show that they are a big deal. They arrived at the show alone to avoid any commotion but away from prying eyes, they were very much in each other’s company.”
“Very thing”! But La La!
All in all, it’s been widely speculated for some time now that the 41-year-old singer and the 51-year-old rapper are officially – and her recent cute snap to TMZ may be just the proof we need.
On Tuesday in Beverly Hills, when the outlet asked Jennifer her thoughts on how she and Common have been hanging out lately, she had only one thing to say:
“The rumors say a lot of things. He’s a beautiful man, I’ll give you that.”
Well, we do not hear no! And her idea of ”beautiful” is too similar to what her new beau said Show today last month, when he called her “one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever met on the planet. ” They seem to really like each other!
