Kendra Wilkinson Says Her Divorce From Hank Baskett Has Led To Depression – Hollywood Life

During the June 22 section of Melissa Gorgaand On Display podcast, The Girls Next Door alum Kendra Wilkinson38, about her mental health problems after divorcing from Hank Baskett, 40. “We had a great marriage, but now we are great co-parents. You know, of course, no one really signs up for a marriage to get a divorce,” said Kendra, who shares Alijah Mary9, and a son Hank Jr., 12, with her ex, said. “And that wasn’t really the depression part that I went through for four or five years. Divorce – just fueled my depression.”

As a result of their separation, the 38-year-old’s decade on reality TV was also coming to an end, adding more to his sadness. “So I went through a divorce, I lost everything I knew, which was my TV show. Later, the Kendra on top alum went on to explain why she ended her current career in real estate. “For years, I didn’t have a reputation. I didn’t know everything for a long time. I don’t know who I am,” she said. “I was like, so lost and I had to really heal like the level where I like, oof, that’s how I chose real estate because I had to work it out and put faith in it the something again, put faith in my life, and I chose buildings, not knowing that the camera would turn on again.” Her last series, Kendra sells Hollywoodwhich premiered in 2021 and is currently on its second season.

Kendra and the former athlete married in 2009, at the height of her reality TV success. The former lovebirds had several shows together, among them Kendra and Kendra on top. By 2014, their marriage began to crumble after reports claimed that Hank had cheated on Kendra, which they openly discussed on the show Marriage Boot Camp. They finalized their divorce in 2018. While chatting with Melissa on Thursday, Kendra attributed her motivation in life to her beautiful children.
“As long as you are a mother, don’t forget that you still have children. I really wasn’t. It was impossible to be happy at that time. I didn’t even know how to be happy,” she said. “I had all my children. What were my children? It gave me a reason to try to stay alive, to keep going, to drive them to hockey and basketball and to laugh and watch them do everything at school.
