Kenyan chef Maliha celebrates as she breaks Hilda Baci’s record, pending Guinness World Record confirmation

Just over two months after the Guinness World Records were announced Hilda Baci the new holder of the longest cooking time by an individual record (93 hours 11 minutes), a Kenyan chef has been broken.
Chef Maliha Mohammed, who began her 95-hour marathon cooking session on August 11, has unofficially set a new record.
On Tuesday, through a post on her Instagram page, Maliha revealed her achievements, through a special flyer that boldly proclaims, “NEW WORLD RECORD”.
“@seagasltd Yes, we did it! New world record holder for longest home kitchen cooking marathon in Shukran village for their support,” she wrote.
Videos circulated online, showing her supporters erupting in cheers and applause as they surrounded her immediately after she turned off the gas.
