Lindsay Lohan officially a mother to a little boy!
The actress has given birth to her and husband Bader Shammas’ first child, a boy named Luai, according to a rep who told Page Six.
“The family is over the moon in love,” her rep said in a statement Monday.

The baby was born in Dubai where Lohan and Shammas currently live. The name Laui is an Arabic name that loosely translates to “strong and steadfast” and also “shield or protector”.
Lohan, 37, announced that she and her husband of one year were expecting their first child together back in March via an Instagram post and later. prove they had a boy.
In the post, Lohan posted a photo of a newborn baby that she captioned as “coming soon.”

“We are blessed and happy,” The Parent Trap the actress wrote under the post.
Lohan had opened up about the possibility of having children in an interview last year saying “I want to have children,” and had “talked” to Shammas about whether they would live in Dubai as parents.
“It’s so safe there, and the schools are great. It’s so separate from everything I’m used to. … It’s nice to have a separate world that’s mine.”

Recently, Lohan has opened up about the motherhood truth to come in an interview with Allure.
“It’s awesome in a good way,” Lohan said Allure magazine posing for the cover in June cradling her baby bump.
“I can’t wait to see what it feels like and what it’s like to be a mother,” she says.

The actress also said that she has always felt that maternal instinct is the older of her siblings, but the unknown of motherhood is a bit scary.
Lohan and Shammas went public with their relationship back in February 2020. About a year and a half later, Shammas got down on one knee and proposed to the actress. The couple then married in an intimate ceremony last April but only released details of the wedding later in July.
