Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell star in After Yang director Kogonada’s next film
After Yang the Kogonada director teams up with Colin Farrell and Margot Robbie for the drama A Big Bold Beautiful Journey.
Pachinko and After Yang director Kogonada is all set to start work on his next feature, A beautiful Big Adventure, and is bringing Academy Award nominees Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell along for the ride. The acting duo will appear in Kogonada’s new project, produced by Imperative Entertainment. The effort has an original script by The Menu writer Seth Reiss, with Kogonada behind the camera.
Plot details remain a mystery, however Date saying A beautiful Big Adventure defined as “An imaginative story about two strangers and the incredible journey that connects them.” Cameras will be rolling this Spring in California, with 30West financing the feature.
Margot Robbie’s involvement in the movie Kogonada is interesting because last month, The Suicide Squad and Barbie the actress said she was considering taking a short break from acting. Robbie is worried that people “Maybe she’s sick of it,” and she does not want to greet him.

Farrell’s next acting gig is for the upcoming Apple TV+ series Sugar. Sugar is a unique contemporary look at one of the most popular and important genres in the history of literature, motion picture, and television: the private detective story. Colin Farrell stars as John Sugar, an American private investigator on the heels of the disappearance of Olivia Siegel, the beloved granddaughter of famous Hollywood producer Jonathan Siegel. As Sugar tries to find out what happened to Olivia, he also discovers the secrets of the Siegel family, some very recent, others long buried.
The series also stars Kirby, Amy Ryan, James Cromwell, Anna Gunn, Dennis Boutsikaris, Nate Corddry, Sydney Chandler, and Alex Hernandez.
