Arnold Schwarzenegger is finally making his way to Netflix as part of the streamer’s May 22-28 schedule.
On Thursday, May 25, Netflix will release FUBAR, an upcoming action comedy series starring Terminator Schwarzenegger. This time, he will portray a CIA spy called Luke Brunner. When he retires, things take a turn for the worse on his last mission when he discovers that his daughter is also an undercover CIA spy. At 75, Schwarzenegger is one of Hollywood’s most popular action movie stars, with many roles in action-packed films under his belt, including Conan the Barbarian, Predator, Commando, Total Recall, and more. His most recent appearance on screen dates back to 2019’s Terminator: Dark Fate, but he worked as a voice actor in Superhero Kindergarten and Little Demon in the meantime.
The cast includes Monica Barbaro, Milan Carter, Gabriel Luna, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Fabiana Udenio, Barbara Eve Harris, Aparna Brielle, Andy Buckley, and Jay Baruchel.
As usual, Netflix will leave the eight installments in the series for fans to watch. The upcoming series is created and produced by Nick Santora. The list of executive producers includes Schwarzenegger, Adam Higgs, Scott Sullivan, Holly Dale, and Bill Bost, with David Ellison and Dana Goldberg of Skydance. FUBAR is produced by Skydance Television.
