Pink just started her journey with a woman entering the middle of the show again.
That’s right, folks. Last year, I shared that a fan’s concert experience took an unexpected turn when they went to work on the Summer Carnival Tour 2023. Now, it’s happened again!
On the first night of Pink’s Summer Carnival stadium tour in Sydney, she stopped the show to acknowledge a fan who went into labor in the audience.
In a TikTok video of the event, Pink joked that she would be a very difficult participant as she struggled to understand what her team was trying to tell her with their signs, bending her knowledge mom by suggesting, “Minecraft?”
After a few laughs, she asked if “Alicia or Alex was born,” wondering if it was a boy or a girl.
“I feel like we shouldn’t be watching. Everyone give her some privacy!” she added jokingly.
Pink then clarified that the baby wasn’t born yet but he was still shocked that it was music that induced the labour.
“Wow, ‘Our Song,’ that was the one he did. I wouldn’t have called that one! I thought it was ‘Party Start’ or ‘I Won’t Dance again.”
Pink congratulated the mother with a standing ovation, saying, “That’s exciting. I don’t even know what to say. But we have to sing now. Good luck! It’s going to be great! you are very good.”
And to make the real mommy moment even sweeter, Pink brought out her 12-year-old daughter, Willow Sage Hart, to perform their hit single, “Cover Me in Sunshine.”
Honestly, this is such perfect timing that I’m starting to suspect that these Carnival Tour employees are inside jobs.
Congratulations to all the mothers, new and experienced, at the concert.
