PlayStation Plus Essential May 2023 Lineup Revealed
Sony has revealed the three titles coming to the PlayStation Plus Essential roster for May 2023. As noted by the PlayStation Blog, Legends of the Grid, Population IIand Descendant games are said to be coming to the service on May 2nd. They will be available until June 6.
Legends of the Grid the newest game of the bunch and the latest racing entry in the long-running series. This PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 title released to decent reviews and is sitting at an average of 75. It also received its last piece of DLC in January, which added a few more vehicles and races.
Population II also available for PS4 and PS5 owners, but, unlikely Legends of the Grid, is a first-person multiplayer game with a melee focus. It received high praise and settled at 82 on OpenCritic. Torn Banner Studios is still updating the title and has a long roadmap for it as well. The next big content drop is even coming out next week.
Descendant the latest game and it is, appropriately enough, about going down a path while riding a bike. This PS4 game was first released in 2018 and has received a lot of support over the years through free updates. Reviews were somewhat mixed, but it currently sits at a 74 on OpenCritic. It was also recently announced that it is getting a sequel, albeit one without a number in the title.
As is often the case, Dealabs user billbil-kun leaked the line just before Sony officially announced it. The May lineup for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members hasn’t been announced yet, but that’s likely to come in a few weeks.
