The Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) has screened the case of Abdulzak Isa, a 27-year-old accused who absconded from Kuje jail serving a life sentence for the murder of an Indian national.

Police investigation revealed that he had escaped from the Kuje jailbreak in June 2022. He had served 10 years of life imprisonment for the murder of an Indian man in 2013 before escaping from Kuje jail.

He assured that the police would continue their all-out efforts to nab everyone who escaped from prisons across the country, including those in Kuje Jail.
