Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, a distinguished employee of Eko Hotel and Suites in Nigeria, has received a $10,000 prize from David for his extraordinary act of integrity.
This huge reward came just days after Mary discovered and quickly returned $70,000 missing in Lagos to its rightful owner.
Despite the doubts of several netizens about returning such a large amount, especially because of the state of the economy, Davido took it upon himself to find Mary and compensate her for her generous actions.
In a tweet, he said, “Find her for me…..I’ll give away $10,000.”
This act of mercy is in line with Davido’s previous generous gestures, such as his recent donation of 237 million naira to orphans in Nigeria.
Thanks to the power of social media and Davido’s tweet, Mary was located within a day, and thankfully received her well-deserved award from the Nigerian artist.
