Ranked: The best and worst signings from this summer’s transfer window in the Premier League. Welcome to #RANKED #Worst #Signings #Summer039s #Transfer #Window #Premier #League EODBA BlogHere is the latest breaking news and trending broadcast for you today: :

Best signature.

1. Erling Halland.

What Manchester City needed to address the most in the transfer window was their striker situation. Pep Guardiola’s men are missing one of the top strikers in the squad and after what happened last season, that position needs urgent attention. And what better way to remedy this than by acquiring one of the hottest assets in world football in the form of Erling Haaland?

The striker has hit the ground running since his move to Manchester City. He has scored 9 goals in 5 matches so far, more than any player in the Premier League this season. There is no doubt that his performance has made him top the list.

2. Gabriel Jesus.

The man who transformed Arsenal. Similar to the situation with Manchester City last season, Arsenal needed a striker and luckily for them, Jesus was in the market for Manchester City and Arsenal signed him up. His performance for the North Londoners is far from flawless and impressive.

3. Lisandro Martinez.

The former Ajax defender was one of the most suspected Premier League signings this summer. Many fans and pundits questioned whether he could adapt to the Premier League due to his height and so far he is proving them wrong. Only played 5 games into the season but was fantastic when called upon. He gets a place in this list.

4. Fofana.

This is probably the most controversial inclusion on this list. Fofana is yet to make a single appearance for Chelsea and based on his high fee, expectations are high on his shoulders. A contributing factor to his inclusion here is how good he is as a player and that he would be an instant hit at Chelsea. Chelsea are known for their ability to produce world-class defenders regardless of their age, and Thiago Silva is a prime example.

Worst signature ever.

1. Darwin Nunez.

Not sure what’s wrong with Nunez since moving to Liverpool but he hasn’t been as impressive as his price tag. Apart from the few goals he scored early in the season, his performances have not been that impressive. Add to that the fact that he has already received his first red card in the Premier League.

2. Chukwuemeka Carney.

The young Englishman has made our list after failing to make a single appearance for Chelsea since his £20m move from Aston Villa at the start of August. Despite Chelsea’s dwindling number of available midfielders, Carne has yet to make an appearance. So it’s hard to imagine a club paying £20m for a teenager with a few months left on his contract at Villa and then going ahead to leave him on the bench at a crucial moment.

3. Antony.

Manchester United fans will not be happy to see this player in this part of the list. Antony joined Manchester United from Ajax this week and is yet to make a single appearance for United. It could be very difficult to keep him here but he was signed for €100m. Now, this player is a €40m-€45m max price player. I could still be wrong, but for now, Antony lives here.

4. Yves Bissauma.

Bissauma joined Tottenham and the move left Spurs fans in dreamland. It’s all worth it, they had just snapped up one of the most effective midfielders in the Premier League and hopes were high that he would impress. But so far, we have seen very little of Bissauma. Højbjerg has kept him out of the starting lineup and while we’ve seen him play, he’s yet to reach the level he was at Brighton and Hove Albion.
