The return leg will come in early April at Camp Nou.

Team news

True: Ferland Mendy is still recovering from a thigh injury he suffered in the quarter-finals against Aleti. Rodrygo and David Alaba have also struggled with injuries of late following the UEFA Champions League first leg at Liverpool. The Brazilian could return after training recently but the Austria international is out. Suspension Luka Modric will only feature against Real Betis this weekend while Aurelien Tchouameni should be partnered in the center after suffering from flu.

Barcelona: Robert Lewandowski is likely to be out with a hamstring injury which is a huge blow for the Catalans. Ousmane Dembele and Pedri will also miss out with injuries but Ansu Fati could still make it. Ferran Torres is an alternative to Lewandowski while Raphinha could also return after picking up a foot injury following Manchester United’s UEFA Europa League defeat.

Real could overshadow this one as the La Liga title is starting to look less likely. Lewandowski is not a big miss for Barca while Real’s win over Liverpool showed that they can still build themselves up for big games. In any case, the tie will not be decided here – even if it is in favor of Real after the home leg. Select: Real 2, Barca 1.
