Rihanna’s boyfriend, ASAP Rocky is facing a lawsuit for allegedly shooting a childhood friend

Rakim Mayers, aka ASAP Rocky, Rihanna’s boyfriend, has found himself in the middle of a legal storm as he prepares to go to trial for the alleged shooting of his childhood friend, Terell Ephron.

The incident, which happened two years ago, was recently brought to light when a video of ASAP Rocky reportedly shooting Ephron with a pistol went viral.

On the second day of his hearing, it was announced that ASAP Rocky would be going to trial for allegedly shooting Ephron in the face during a brawl, causing serious injury. The rapper pleaded not guilty.

Rocky is currently charged with two counts of assault with a firearm; if convicted, he faces up to ten years in prison.

The rapper and Ephron, who was a member of the A$AP Mob and had known each other since they were in high school in New York, got into an argument that ended with the allegations.

In a separate complaint, Ephron says Asap Rocky took him to an undisclosed location outside the W Hotel in Hollywood on November 6, 2021, to settle a dispute. He also claims that he has been the subject of neglect, emotional distress, assault and violence.

CCTV footage of the incident has gone viral, with some witnesses claiming that Rakim saw a gun pulled out and fired.

However, ASAP Rocky’s legal team denies that he is the man in the video.

The music industry has seen the rise of ASAP Rocky’s fame, who is currently in a relationship with music legend Rihanna.

The couple has two children together. With the help of actors like Drake, the rapper became famous.
