The deputy director of the Vladimir prison took bribes from subordinates for paid time

The deputy director of the Vladimir prison (T-1 UFSIN) took bribes from subordinates for paid time off: the Russians received about 500 thousand rubles by admitting employees who were not on duty on time. The Russian Investigative Committee for Vladimir Region (TFR) reported this to Lente.ru on Tuesday, September 20.

According to the agency, the deputy chief received bribes from early 2019 to mid-2021. Two criminal cases were initiated against him under the sections of “Taking a bribe” and “Taking a large amount of bribe”. The regional FSB and the organization’s security service participated in the identification and investigation of the crime. At this point, the person concerned has been removed from his post.

It was previously reported that a Federal Penitentiary Service general accused of bribery described his case as revenge for a former partner. This became known when the investigation into the criminal case against the former head of the Research Institute of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, Major General of the Internal Service Andrei Bykov, accused of abuse of power by rewarding and accepting bribes to employees was completed.
