Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky say they are not divorcing, despite various reports on July 3 that said they were ending their marriage. “Regarding the news that came out about us today … any claims of our divorce are false,” they wrote in a joint statement on Instagram. But, yes, it’s been a rough year to have. The most challenging one in our marriage. But we have a lot of love and respect for each other.”
In addition, the couple put an end to any speculation about possible cheating in their relationship. “No offense was committed on anyone’s part,” they continued. “Even though we are in the public eye, we want to be able to work through our issues privately. While it may be interesting to speculate, please don’t create false stories to fit another crazy narrative.”
The news of Kyle and Mauricio’s split sent shock waves through the Real Housewives from Beverly Hills fandom. PEOPLE reported that the two were separated, but still living together. Kyle and Mauricio have been married since 1996, celebrating 27 years of marriage earlier this year. Fans have gotten to know themselves and their children with gratitude RHOBAwhich Kyle has starred in since its first season in 2010. Fans have speculated that RHOBA cameras will roll for the show’s upcoming 13th season amid divorce rumors.
Together, Kyle and Mauricio have three daughters: Aligia, 27, Sophia23, and Portia15. Kyle also has a daughter, Farrah in Brittany32, with her husband, Gurais Aldjufrie. While Kyle is known as a former child star/actress/reality star, Mauricio owns a successful real estate agency, The Agency, in Beverly Hills. Alexia and Farrah work on The Agency and play with their father in Netflix’s Buy Beverly Hillswhich premiered its first season in 2022.
Kyle and Mauricio have been at the center of split rumors for months, but Mauricio shut down the speculation in an April episode of Teddy Mellencamp and Tamra Judge podcast. “We’re not getting a divorce,” he said. Mauricio also confirmed that he and Kyle would discuss the rumours RHOBA.
