‘Shrinking’ trailer stars Harrison Ford and Jason Segel in ‘Ted Lasso’ creator’s new comedy series

Ted Lasso fans have something to celebrate. Download the trailer for the new Comedy series Declining written by Bill Lawrence, Brett Goldstein, and Jason Segel dropped today. Although there is no football in this new show and Jason is no different, the audience is guaranteed a good time laughing about loss and sadness with Segel and Harrison Ford.

In the trailer, viewers can see Segel’s character Jimmy Laird dealing with the loss of his wife while trying to maintain his drug practice. Ford’s character, Phil Rhodes, tries to intervene and get Jimmy to grieve in a healthier way. The landlord decides to make changes to how he treats patients.

The plot of the series centered on Jimmy goes against the usual rules of the therapist-client relationship and ethics. Jimmy tells every client what he thinks. The results are a huge breakthrough for Jimmy’s clients and Jimmy himself.

Beyond Segel and Ford, the cast includes Christa Miller and Jessica Williams. Miller plays Liz, Jimmy’s neighbor who is the mother of his daughter. Williams plays another therapist in the same practice as Jimmy and Phil. Michael Urie, Luke Tennie, and Lukita Maxwell round out the team.

Declining debuts on Apple TV + on Friday, January 27, when the first two episodes will be dropped. The remaining eight episodes will be released on the streaming platform on Friday.
