The icon was asked by Nardwuar, a famous Canadian journalist and musician, “Have you ever had a rooster named Gooch?”
In a surprising twist, the rapper replied, “Oh yeah! Gooch would live with me.”
Snoop Dogg recalled, “I had a rooster that we couldn’t kill. We tried to kill the pig when we first moved in, and it wouldn’t die. So we called ‘ The Gooch’ on.
“We used to leave him food out and everything,” Snoop Dogg said.
And apparently, because the Gooch was so well fed and cared for during the “six or seven months” he lived with the rapper, The Gooch grew to “the size of an entire dollar bill.”
“It just kept getting bigger and bigger,” Snoop Dogg recalled. “I stayed in that apartment for, like, about six, seven months—cuz it grew to the size of about a whole dollar bill. “
