Suicide Squad game canceled again

Suicide Squad: Eliminate the Justice League it took a while to come out. And while it’s still officially scheduled to be released on May 26, a new report says it won’t make it to that date.

According to a new report from Bloomberg (which correctly reported the previous delay), the live service shooter is being pushed from May to an unspecified time later in the year. One of the sources in the article explains that this delay is mainly for developing some sub-horror aspects of the game and fixing bugs. The game itself is not being reviewed, as that would take much longer.

Said gameplay was widely criticized after the game’s big splash at the recent PlayStation State of Play. Many rejected the live service elements and abundant burning. Addressing those concerns would undoubtedly take more than a few months, which explains why Bloomberg’s source said the delay was more about polishing the game.
