Gwyneth Paltrowthe legal battle may not be over yet!
As you know, Terry Sanderson the 50-year-old actress sued in 2019, alleging that she bumped into him while on the slopes at Deer Valley Resort in Utah back in 2016. He said He suffered a concussion and broken ribs from the accident. And on Thursday, the 76-year-old ended up losing the civil lawsuit and won $1 in damages to Gwyneth – the amount she requested in her suit. Asked if the lawsuit was worth it after the trial, Terry said:
“Knowing that [verdict] now, no. I joked about dating sites, right? It’s like I’ve been on the internet forever.”
As for whether he felt Gwyneth’s celebrity status influenced the case, he said:
“Being a celebrity gives you some credibility. Who wants to adopt a celebrity? No wonder I hesitated. It is difficult. Who wants to do that someone learns lines, learns to play someone else’s part and be believable, believable, win awards? Who wants to go that route. I believe she thinks she has the truth… but I know for sure I said I wouldn’t tell any lies.”

But not so fast! While Sanderson may be regretting suing Gwyneth after the loss, that doesn’t mean he or his legal fiance is backing him now! Dear lawyer, Robert Sykestold TMZ Saturday that they are considering filing a motion for a new trial or even a possible appeal! He said:
“We wholeheartedly agree with the outcome and will consider all options going forward…. including moving to court for a new trial or possible appeal. All those things are on the table.”
Sykes explained to the revolution that he believes that several mistakes were made in the case that could help with an appeal. One moment the lawyer questioned was that the judge allowed Gwyneth’s legal team to investigate Terry’s background – something he said was “completely unrelated” to the accident. However, Sykes noted that the problem was that the doctor’s lawyers were not allowed to dig into the Keep history of alum. Hmm…
At this time, Terry’s lawyers have made no move to file for a new trial or appeal as they are taking their time to weigh their options before making a final decision. But there is a chance that we could see Gwyneth and Terry go head-to-head again.
