The final Airbender teaser trailer reveals Aang, Katara & Sokka’s Bond
Netflix has released a new feature Avatar: The Last Airbender teaser trailer for the highly anticipated live-action adaptation of the beloved Nickelodeon series.
The video offers new footage teasing the beginning of Aang, Katara and Sokka’s friendship. It also gives us an insight into the trio’s first meeting at the Southern Water Tribe. The series is expected to premiere on February 22.

Who is the cast of Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender?
Based on the Nickelodeon animated series, Avatar: The Last Airbender comes from Sleepy Hollow’s Albert Kim, who is a showrunner, writer and executive producer. It will be directed by Filipino-Canadian actor Gordon Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, and Dallas Liu as Zuko. They are joined by Daniel Dae Kim as Fire Lord Ozai, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as Uncle Iroh, Lim Kay Siu as Gyatso, and Ken Leung as Chief Zhao.
“Water. Earth. Fire. Air. The four nations once lived in harmony, with the Avatar, the master of the four elements, keeping peace between them,” the official summary reads. “But everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked and destroyed the Air Nomads, the first step the firemen took to conquer the world. With the current image of the Avatar yet to appear, the world has lost hope.
Other cast includes Elizabeth Yu as Princess Azula, Maria Zhang as hero Kyoshi Suki, CS Lee as Avatar Roku, Amber Midthunder as Princess Yue, A Martinez as Pakku, Yvonne Chapman as Avatar Kyoshi , Tamlyn Tomita as Yukari, and Casey Camp-Horinek as Gran Gran.
