Donetsk Mayor Kulemzin announced Ukraine’s attack on an administrative building in the center of the city
The Ukrainian side attacked the central Voroshilovsky district of Donetsk. The mayor of the city, Alexei Kulemzin, made the announcement on his Telegram channel.
According to Kulemzin, as a result of the shooting, the shell hit the administrative building. The area of Lenin Square is under bombardment.
Kulemzin also explained that the shelling of the Voroshilovsky district began at 11:38.
On 12 September, the representative office of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) for issues related to war crimes in Ukraine reported that Donetsk and Dokuchevsk were bombarded by Ukrainian armed forces with heavy artillery. According to him, Dokuchevsk was attacked by five shells of 152 mm caliber. Four rounds from 155 mm howitzers were fired at Donetsk, damaging the Kyiv district of the city.
