The split season 2 finale is finally starting filming

After a long delay due to the Hollywood strikes, Ben Stiller reveals that Severance Season 2 has started filming again.

Like many productions last year, break up Season 2 was canceled due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, but Ben Stiller went to X this morning to announce that filming has resumed.

This daring experiment in ‘work-life balance’ is questioned as Mark finds himself at the center of a mystery that forces him to confront the very nature of his work… and himself.

Patricia Arquette, John Turturro, Britt Lower, Zach Cherry, Dichen Lachman, Jen Tullock, Tramell Tillman, Michael Chernus, and Christopher Walken are all back for the new season, with some new additions as well. The new team members for break up Season 2 introduces Gwendoline Christie (The Sandman), John Noble (Margin), Alia Shawkat (Search Party), Bob Balaban (The City), Merritt Weaver (Without God), Robbie Benson (Beauty and the beast), Stefano Carannante (Mirabilia)and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (The Tourist).

break up created and written by Dan Erickson, with Ben Stiller as director and executive producer. In a statement when the series first began production, Stiller said, “We are delighted to be back ready for the second exciting chapter of break up. Although we don’t know how long we’ve been gone or who we’re out with, we’re told people will love the show and we couldn’t be happier. Kudos to Kier!“The first season was a huge success for Apple TV+, receiving 14 Emmy Award nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Directing, Outstanding Writing, and Outstanding Lead Actor.
