Travis Kelce reveals his favorite Taylor Swift album in a new interview – Hollywood Life
Travis Kelce34, completely smitten over a new lover Taylor Swift, 33! The NFL star opened up about their relationship in an interview for WSJ. Irisissue December/January 2024. Not only did the Kansas City Chiefs athlete about meeting a pop star, he also revealed one of his favorite moments. Travis explained that her favorite track is her recently re-recorded album, 1989. The service noted even when the 34-year-old was present at one of Taylor’s Eras Tour shows, he was “counting the minutes” until she got to her 2014 album.
Taylor’s beau also belted out his favorite song from the album. “‘Blank Space’ was definitely one I wanted to hear live. I could make a bad guy good for the weekend. It’s a hell of a line!” he jumped to the morning. While praising the Grammy winner’s talent as a songwriter, Travis noted that he often “learns” through it. “I’ve never been a man of my word. Being around her, seeing how smart Taylor is, it’s been really cool,” he said. “I’m learning every day.”
As well as discussing the 33-year-old’s “catchy jingles”, Travis also spoke about being thrust into Taylor’s orbit through their high-profile romance. “I’ve actually never dated anyone with that kind of aura about them…. I’ve never dealt with it,” he said of Taylor’s superstardom. “But at the same time, I’m not running away from any of it…. The scrutiny she gets, the magnifying glass on her every day, paparazzi outside her house, outside every restaurant for him, after every flight she gets off, and she just lives, enjoying life. When she acts like that I’d rather not be the weird one.”
Also in the interview, Travis gave Swifties a little more background on how he and Taylor first sparked their romance. He famously tried to give the singer his phone number through a friendship bracelet in July. At the same time, efforts were being made to bring them together through mutual friends. “There were definitely people she knew who knew who I was, in her corner [who said]: Yes! Did you know it was coming? I had someone play Cupid,” he explained.
Travis was surprised when the blonde beauty ended up reaching out to him via text. “She told me exactly what was going on and how I was lucky enough to get her out,” he said. The Taylor man also explained that some of her family were near his locker at Arrowhead Stadium at the time. “She might hate me for saying this, but … when she came to Arrowhead, they gave her the big locker room as a dressing room, and her little cousins ‘ photo shoot… By September, the rest was history with the two packing on the PDA in Kansas City after Taylor attended one of his games.
