Tristan Thomson32, reportedly filed documents to secure legal protection for his brother, Amari17, eight months after their mother, Andrewdied unexpectedly, as reported by TMZ on September 8. The documents obtained by the tabloid after the death of the late mother revealed, Khloe Kardashianand ex took over as the teenager’s caretaker. Additionally, the docs revealed that Tristan and his brother’s father, Trevorhas been “absent” all his life – leaving the 32-year-old as the only provider who can care for Amari.
Amari, as many know, suffers from a number of health problems. Tristan is stepping up to be his younger brother’s caregiver because he “can’t take care of himself,” per TMZ. After Andrea’s death, Amari is expected to receive “approximately $103,475,” which Tristan would “protect” from “loss or injury.” The late mother of four died on January 6th in Toronto after suffering a heart attack. Khloe and her family rushed to Tristan’s side amid the heartbreaking news.
Near the end of season 3 The KardashiansKhloe revealed to her sister, Kim Kardashian, 42, that she had to bring in Tristan and Amari after her ex’s roof caved in. “Isn’t God just funny?” the founder of SKIMS asked her sister. “You were so ready for your year off, and now Tristan had to move in with you and his brother had to move in with you. His roof caved in!? What are the chances.” Tristan and the TV personality dated on and off from 2016 until their most recent split in June 2021.
Recently, the pro athlete took to Instagram on July 27 to celebrate Amari’s birthday. Tristan also used the title to remember their mother during her death. “Happy birthday to my sweet baby brother Amari! I love you forever! We miss you mom,” he captioned the post, along with a red heart emoji. In the picture, Tristan and Amari stood together outside. Amari looked dapper in an all-white ensemble while Tristan opted for a black tank top and basketball shorts.
Andrea is survived by Tristan, Amari, and her two other sons: Trevor and Wake up. Khloe and older brother Amari welcomed two children together, including: True5, and her brother, Tatum1. Tristan and the blonde Beauty welcomed their newest child via surrogate in August 2022 following the massive cheating scandal after Tristan secretly fathered another woman amid his relationship with Khloe.
