Polish police say two men have died in a shooting at a restaurant in the Polish city of Poznan

WARSAW, Poland — Two men have died in a shooting in a restaurant in the center of the Polish city of Poznan, local police said on Sunday.
A spokesman for the Poznan police, Andrzej Borowiak, said that the incident took place in the garden of the hotel’s restaurant on St. Martin Street, in the Old Town of Poznan, an area popular with tourists.
Borowiak said one of the two men was killed on the spot while the other died at the hospital. The men were residents of Poznan, aged 30 and 31.
He said that the police are “sure” that one of the men was responsible for what happened and that they are trying to find out what the connection was between the two.
Gazeta Wyborcza newspaper reported witnesses as saying that one man shot the other and then shot himself. The day did not recognize the witnesses.
The police and prosecutors are investigating.
