Watch Idaho murder suspect Bryan Kohberger & his father slip out of a traffic stop!

Another mass murder case, another traffic stop video in which cops let the killer go? Scary – although this time at least it was well past the point of being killed and there was nothing the police could do.

You may have already heard, but it was revealed over the long weekend that it is Bryan Kohberger he was pulled over twice last month, back to back, in Indiana. The grad student went across the country from Washington Statewhere he attended school, to Pennsylvania – where he was arrested for the horrific quadruple murder at Edinburgh University University of Idaho. During that trip, which he made with his father, one policeman was a little suspicious of him – but apparently he was not suspicious enough. Bodycam footage just released from the Indiana state trooper showing the entire meeting…

The car was towed over on December 15th. Apparently they had been following the car in front of them too closely. Unfortunately for most of the video, the cop’s camera is looking down at the car door. But when the cops first come, Bryan can be seen watching very strange in the driver’s seat (see above).

It’s a very normal stop from the sound of things. Only at one point, he asks where they are going – and they tell him they are driving all the way from Seattle to Pennsylvania. The cop replies:

“That’s a long journey. Are you afraid of planes?”

Strangely, Bryan’s father is raising violence on the college campus! He mentions a shooting near his son’s college, Washington State University, in which a student threatened to kill his classmates before being killed by cops. Weird thing to build… But it works. The soldier lets them go with a warning.

Strange, as this was over a week after the Moscow police department has launched a national appeal for help in finding a white Hyundai Elantra linked to the murders. But the soldier did not put those two things together. Police officers told TMZ they were not informed of a license plate or record status to look out for. They seem to be making excuses. After all, it’s a white Hyundai Elantra coming from the general area… although maybe the Indiana cop didn’t realize how close Idaho and Washington were?

Interestingly, the Indiana State Police said TMZ that it was only *minutes* before that stop that officers stopped them Hancock County Sheriff’s Dept. They also failed to connect the Elantra and let them off with a warning. Two close calls. Wild.

Anyway, you can watch the full interview (below)!
