A video of Trae Tha Truth and Z-Ro’s physical altercation appears online

50 Cent took over the city of Houston on Saturday August 27th for his annual Tycoon Weekend. However, it appears that Trey Tha Truth and Z-Ro have run into trouble outside of the venue.

While it’s no secret that Trey Tha Truth and Z-Ro have a strained relationship, their friendship seems non-existent in a recently released clip.

The footage shows the Z-rover being repeatedly attacked by Trey Tha Truth and his crew while lying on the ground in a fetal position.

Furthermore, the video was first shared by a Twitter user named @T_Nealy91 on Monday, August 29.

Later in the clip, Z-Ro is seen raising his fists to attack his attacker. During that time, Tre Tha Satya and a few others proceed to verbally threaten Z-Ro.

Fortunately, the sheriff arrived in time to break up the fight.

Z-Ro opens up about his fight with Trae Tha Truth

Z-Ro, whose real name is Joseph Wayne McVey IV, sat down with TMZ after his altercation with Trae Tha Truth and his crew.

The 42-year-old rapper shared his side of the story, claiming Trey’s crew assaulted him after he asked to speak to him.

‘I can’t leave a drink alone’ said the artist, ‘I was at the 50 charity dinner on Saturday and some supporters asked for a photo. Then I saw Trey approaching. He asked if he could attack me. I turned around to see who he was talking to and he asked if I could move to the side of the bus that was running behind him.’

He added, ‘I’m thinking that you [are about] 2 talking like grown men, but i got sucked. When that happened… a lot of other friends (whom I’m not related to) jumped in.’

The 45-year-old rapper later pointed out that the leaked footage doesn’t reveal the whole truth behind their fight.

He mentioned that, ‘The video that has been published is a part of the incident. The beginning, where I was told to come, is not shown! At the end of the day, I came to the One Deep event to meet my artist Lolita Monroux. So we can support 50.’
