Where to buy Jenna Lyons eyeliner
When the rebooted Bravo series returned The Real Housewives of New York, viewers have six new and incredibly gorgeous women to watch on the small screen. All the new members have unique fashion tastes – and the bank accounts to move – but one new housewife stands out; long known as the creative director and president of J. Crew, Jenna Lyons has been a mainstay in fashion media since the 90s. While she left J. Crew behind in 2017, Lyons remains fully involved in the fashion and beauty field.
Lyons was behind a ton of design choices made during her time at J. Crew and was known for her retro signature and preppy style. When she left the company, people expected her next move to be something in fashion; while her pursuit of beauty wasn’t completely out of left field, most expected her to launch something like a lipstick in the signature poppy shade she wore while at J. Crew or even a hair line (that hair isn’t receding). Instead, Lyons decided to start her own fake lash company with makeup artist Troi Ollivierre — also a J. Crew alum — called LoveSeen.
If you’re interested in trying out the lashes for yourself, there are a few different ways you can shop.
Where to buy LoveSeen lashes
Since the launch of LoveSeen in 2020, the lash products – in addition to falsies, there are lash glue, application tools, carrying cases, and cleaning tools – are available in several stores. LoveSeen is available for purchase through its own website, LoveSeen.com, as well as being available through Target (both in-store and online), Beauty Pie, Goop, and Mecca.
While it may have seemed more natural for Lyons to follow a fashion line, she found false lashes to be a perfect fit. Lyons suffers from a genetic condition called incontinentia pigmenti, which affects skin and lash growth; in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Lyons admits she doesn’t have lashes. “I am very aware of how transformative eyes can be and how they can affect how people see themselves and how others see them…
LoveSeen offers both “high impact” lashes and more natural looking lashes, starting at $16.50. If you’re not sure which lash you’re leaning towards, the official LoveSeen website is hosting a lash quiz to help you find your perfect lash. If you can’t decide, you can even buy the complete set of original lashes (along with lash glue and application tool) for $175.70.
